Dr. Gloria Samdi Puldu
Dr. Gloria Samdi Puldu is the Global President of the LEAH Foundation and Executive Director of Longview Help and Support. A passionate advocate for religious freedom, she is dedicated to raising global awareness about religious persecution in Africa, with a strong focus on advancing girl-child education and women’s empowerment across the continent.
Through her leadership in both organizations, Dr. Puldu supports the rehabilitation and reintegration of women and girls who have survived various forms of captivity, helping to restore their dignity and affirm their value in society.
She is internationally recognized for her tireless advocacy on behalf of Leah Sharibu, a young girl abducted at the age of 14 by Boko Haram (ISWAP) from her school in Dapchi, Nigeria. While her classmates were released, Leah has remained in captivity for over seven years due to her steadfast refusal to renounce her Christian faith. Dr. Puldu co-authored Leah, Hero for Jesus, a book that chronicles Leah’s courageous story and unwavering faith.
In addition to her advocacy work, Dr. Puldu holds a PhD in Political Science and lectures in the Department of Political Science at the University of Jos, Nigeria.
